This website (“Website”) pajarocompass.org is a service offered by the Elkhorn Slough Foundation (“Foundation”) on behalf of the Pajaro Compass Network (“Compass”). This Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (“Use Policy”) describes the terms and conditions applicable to access and use of this Website and its services.

The Foundation reserves the right to modify this Use Policy at any time, and without prior notice, by posting a revised version on the Website. For users’ convenience, a last revised date is included at the top of this page. All Website users agree, through their use of the Website, that they agree to the current Use Policy, and will be bound by any changes to it. The Foundation may discontinue or restrict use of this Website for any reason.

By promoting the Compass, its resources and membership meetings, and news from across the network, the Website’s goal is to improve the effectiveness of and interactions among members. All Website content (“Content”, including but not limited to text, graphics, maps, and other images or data) is intended to be a general information resource and is provided solely on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Content is not meant for regulatory purposes, and users are encouraged to confirm any information contained herein. Users should not construe the Foundation’s administration of Content on this Website as a warranty or guarantee of any kind either expressed or implied of its quality (including accuracy, completeness, or reliability) or availability of any goods or services. Use of the Website and the content available on the website is at the user’s sole risk.

The Website may contain links to websites operated by other parties. The Foundation provides these links to other websites as a convenience, and use of these sites is at every user’s own risk. With the exceptions of elkhornslough.org and elkhornsloughctp.org, which are governed under separate Use Policies, the linked sites are not owned or operated by or under the control of the Foundation, and the Foundation is not responsible for the content available on the other sites. The Foundation invites all users to view and use a single copy of the materials obtained from this Website for their non-commercial use. Users agree not to license, distribute, create derivative works from, transfer, sell or re-sell any information, Content, or services obtained from this Website. No graphics, photographs, or other visual elements obtained through this Website may be used, copied, or distributed separate from the accompanying annotations and bounding boxes without the prior express written consent of the original owner or Foundation. Users may not under any circumstances attempt to deface, shut down, or otherwise damage this Website. The Foundation is engaged in social networks like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. We allow links to share pages on these and other social media networks. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on the Website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website.
